Your leader will help you to book your activities for the next day.

Today you will spend the morning hiking through the National Park whilst exploring lava fields and secondary forests. The Arenal Volcano is the main attraction of the National Park. It is one of the most active volcanos of Costa Rica and still grows a few meters every year due to the regular eruptions. You have the rest of the day to participate in the exciting activities which you have booked the day before. Visit the Caño Negro Wildlife Reserve, the Venado Caves, or participate in an enchanting tour of the rainforest’s canopy!

Be enchanted by the beautiful landscape on your way to Monteverde, a small town in the Puntarenas province, located in the Cordillera de Tilarán. This region is one of Costa Rica’s top spots for ecotourism, so nature enthusiasts are sure to enjoy themselves. In the afternoon you will visit a traditional family-run Costa Rican plantation, where you can learn how locals cultivate sugar cane, coffee, bananas and oranges. After watching the production of sugar cane schnapps and coffee you can even taste a cup of the delicious hot drink.

They are rich of enormous tree ferns, trees completely covered by moss, lianas, orchids and other alluring vegetation. If you prefer more action, why not go on a ATV-tour? Or what about bunjee jumping or ride the world’s longest zipline through the rainforest? There are plenty of adrenaline experiences to chose from (all excursions optional).
