Welcome to Mexico! After arrival you pick up your car at the airport and drive to Playa del Carmen where you spend the first night.

After breakfast you pick up your car and start your trip through Yucatán. On your way to Mérida you should stop on one of the most important Maya sites: Chichén Itzá. Afterwards, you will continue your journey to the capital of the Yucatán state, where you will spend the today´s night.

Today we recommend visiting the old fishing village Celestún, which is located in a beautiful nature reserve. Take the chance to go on a boat excursion through the nature reserve known for its pink flamingo colonies. Afterwards you will return to Mérida.

Your next stop is Campeche. Explore the historic city center with its colorful colonial buildings. On your way through the Puuc Region you can visit the the former Sisal hacienda in Yaxcopoil as well as the impressive Maya-sites of Uxmal and Kabáh, which are both famous for their highly developed Maya architecture.

In the morning, you will have more time to explore the charming colonial town of Campeche with its extraordinary fort, built to protect the city from pirate attacks! In the afternoon you will continue your trip to Palenque in Chiapas.

Today you can visit the mystical Maya site of Palenque, once the capital of the Empire of the legendary ruler Pakal. In the afternon you can drive into the jungle, to the cascades of Agua Azul where you have the opportunity to take a bath before you return to your hotel.

After breakfast you will travel to Bacalar, which is well known for its beautiful lagune. Because of its beauty and authenticity the village is called the "Pueblo Mágico" (the magic place). On your way to Bacalar we recommend to visit the archaeological sites of Chicanna and Kohunlich.
